Sidfy Workshop Management SaaS Case Study
Sidfy is the clearest proof of my systems-builder work: a real SaaS product designed for workshops that need structure across vehicle check-in, job cards, inventory, customer communication, financial oversight, and release workflows.
The Problem
Vehicle workshops often run on paper job cards, scattered WhatsApp messages, manual inventory checks, and unclear financial visibility. That creates slow handoffs, missing parts information, weak accountability, and poor management visibility.
Diagnosis
The business problem was not only software. It was operational control. A workshop needs every vehicle to move through a known lifecycle, every job to have ownership, every part to be traceable, every quality gate to be visible, and every release decision to be backed by data.
What I Fixed
- Designed the core workshop lifecycle from check-in to process tracking, quality control, and vehicle release.
- Built product positioning around replacing paper job cards, scattered quotes, and unclear workshop accountability.
- Planned modules for job cards, inventory and parts control, customer portal access, financial oversight, quality control gate, HRM, payroll, and WhatsApp integration.
- Structured the product as a SaaS system with pricing tiers, operational modules, and a clear value proposition for workshop owners.
- Connected the product story to the broader business systems work that Nigerian operators need when manual processes stop scaling.
